I reckon that there are probably more people between 14 - 17 years old that want to go to a gothic gig than there are active clubbers. I've seen crowds of them in Flinders St, waiting in lines for G-d knows what. I'm told that they are Emo, but no one can really confirm that -- and kids are more open to doing a variety of things anyway.
The trick is working out where to find them so that you can get them your promotional literature.
FFS. I too have considered putting on under-age gigs at various times (we should have a chat about the stuff I uncovered about regulations etc.) and I really have to say apart from the red tape is it any wonder there is a shortage of underage gigs when anyone who seeks to undertake the somewhat daunting task also has to deal with accusations of 'kiddy fiddling' FFS! For someone who claims to love the music and live music scene that gobshite never seems to miss the opportunity to harm it's natural progress with his utter innability to self-sensor his spasticated rants (unless of course there is a DJ spot in it for him) Tool.

I've found it extremely difficult to resist getting into a huge scrap with TB on the forum. So far, so good. Here's hoping I never stoop to his level.
