Not shooting stars, but the rotation of the earth. You just leave the camera's shutter open for a long time and it captures the subtle rotation of earth. There are some amazing images that deal with these types of setting. Like this. This is one of my favourite star trail shots that I've seen. It's beautiful.

I love them too. I wish to do better ones, but my apartment complex and no one to stake out with me is hindering. :( Oh you'll be able to do them again.

That came out really cool. Love the blueness of the sky contrasting with the sharp green of the trees.

It's really cool (and scary at the same time) to see still evidence of the Earth moving.
