A community made to help raise funds for relief, while now it's focusing on hurricane Katrina.

There are a few major projects being done here, but the one I'm posting about is a book that is being compiled of photographs, poems, artwork, short stories, etc.

Mainly, the idea is to publish a book filled with tributes to the Gulf Coast cities

Yeah, it is a pretty cool idea, they're also making a mix tape of [I think] local area bands, which is also really cool.

It is and the fact that there was no meat left in Wal-mart was insane too.

I really feel like I'd want to contribute to this, but the only entries I have from Katrina is a really bitter hearless one from Sunday and a goofy one that has nothing to do with the hurricane from Monday. No pictures. Maybe I'll come up with something later, but I kind of doubt it.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the picture of the freezer. Definitely one of the more original examples of how the hurricane affects our economy. You could almost do a series... I'm beginning to wish I had gotten pictures of the things people donated at the shelter in Gonzales.

Aw, you could submit a lot of things though. Maybe even write a poem about it or a story or something. You gots good writtens. LOL.

Honey, I haven't written a poem in nearly a year. It's been a while. And my powers of expression have deteriorated quite a bit. A journal entry may happen, but I somehow doubt I'd submit anything. We'll see. I'll probably look into it either way.
