Those trees are so magnificent. It's amazing how old that is without significant decay.

You'd never guess it's age, would you? My folks had redwood (which is commercially grown) siding on our house on the very wet Oregon Coast when I was a teenager. I didn't understand why that was a Big Deal until I saw this tree!
