I knew I wanted to do something about organ transplantation for this prompt, but I had a hard time figuring out what exactly to photograph. Obviously a pt was out!

I don't seem to have any pictures of a a fish ladder on my HD. Which is actually kind of odd; I'm strangely fascinated by them. I love to watch the salmon make their way, and quite a few of the major dams in my part of the world have interesting places to watch the whole procedure.

So ladder, plan B!

Anyway, one of my favorite signs of spring is the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Skagit Valley is about an hour north of my house in Seattle, and they grow a surprisingly large percentage of the the tulip, daffodil, and iris bulbs used around North America. If you ( Read more... )
