H/D Art: The Boy and the Sleeping Prince

Hee, time to claim my piece for H/D Career Fair 2014! Writcraft and I have been discussing the idea to create a fairytale-inspired Harry/Draco world since January. We were finally able to work on it for the Fan Fair. It was such a joy to be able to be able to bounce ideas off each other and cobble together a product that we both are proud off.

Now I can properly comment on the art.

The quill page breaks were so lovely, and the Once Upon a Time and Happily Ever After at the beginning and end. Such attention to detail, and they really helped to make the whole piece hang together as one.

Draco's book! It looks so scary, but really you know it's going to be 'Draco' WINNING AT EVERYTHING :D

I adore Harry drawing Padfoot. You caught his expression so perfectly, and you can tell how agitated he is about Draco being hot insufferable. I love his messy hair and his fancy new glasses, and the cosy jumper - it's just wonderful.

I still think Take a Walk on the Wild Side is one of my favourites, although it's so difficult to choose. I love Draco's clothes and the way he looks so serene. It's the start of their adventure, and the lightness in that picture contrasts so well with the later Smile with those teeth and tear you apartHarry sleeping is just gorgeous. His expression is so peaceful *hugs Harry forever
