That, of course, heavily implies that there are acts besides Act I. Who knows if that will happen? I feel that this, at least, is a semi-satisfying conclusion. Or is it?

I'm quite in love with Lee. What a sweetie. These two quotes:

"He could do it. He would do it. Because it had to be done, and because he wouldn’t force anyone else to make such a choice. Tenten deserved nothing less from him."

". . . and vowed that if it came to that, she would not see him coming."

Just made me love him more and more as the story went on. I've made my friends promise multiple times that if I become a zombie, they better kill me. Lee is someone I'd want by my side in a zombie apocalypse in case I was infected.

TENTEN! She's okay! YES YES YES! I was sitting upright, worried as all out, but when it turned out to be just bruise, I collapsed with relief. Thank goodness. She was way too brave and kickass to die like that.

And they're all getting out of there. I was so worried about them, a whole parade of the zombies coming after them, but then Naruto showed up. Yay! Loved that you brought him and Sasuke (and Sakura?) back.

I'm glad you liked Lee! It was a fun exercise writing him--haven't done it before.

These were a really enjoyable read while I had to do massive amounts of scanning today. I'm very glad TenTen survived :D You can tell that you really enjoyed writing this and many people enjoyed reading it. Keep it up!

oh man, I really love Lee's POV, how his usual idealism and happiness is completely darkened by the current events but he's still clinging to "leave no one behind" -- but when it's time to kill someone (for their own good!) then... he can do it. I love the dichotomy, though I bet he doesn't like knowing he can do that stuff. It's interesting.

Also, tenten's courage, whoa massive love. And Shika being all "i'll try to look yummy" and telling them to leave him and go, waugh.

Actually it's Neji we didn't get to see a lot of in this scene. Obviously this means he needs a POV scene in naruto's car. u.u-b

Yay, I'm glad you liked it! I struggled to balance Lee's inherent optimism and--you know--zombies, but I'm quite pleased you think it came across well. ♥

Gee, I feel a little bad to say I actually got a little lost by the narrative. Due to your other writing patterns, I figured this would be from Lee's perspective, but some breaks and spacings made me wonder if the voice hadn't changed. It's not that it didn't sound like Lee, but sometimes the first one or two sentences would make me wonder who was speaking, then something totally Lee (or just a strong indicator) would pop up and I'd go, "Oh, it IS still Lee

Hey, don't feel bad! I'm always welcome to constructive criticism, and to be honest I think this is my weakest piece. Well, this and the Tenten one. I've never written from their perspectives before, and it's very likely I slipped in and out of Lee's voice in this piece.

If you were scared about Tenten and Shikamaru, then I'm very happy about that. ^-^ Act II is currently on hold--it would actually require that I know what I'm doing. >.>;

Er...as far as zombies and animals, I'm pretty sure that's just up to the creator's mythos. I'm not allowing zombified animals because that just makes things too complicated for me.
