glad to hear you are doing well, and that this looks like it's all coming together for you (except that insurance part...which is the real truth of insurance, they are in business not to pay for things, sadly)
lol, your icon reminds me of me today, except it was woman with steak knife and lazy ass mail carrier....no bodily harm was done to anyone, but I have never had anyone call me up and order me to come down and get my package. I told her flat out no. Unbelievable.
Sorry about the rant, hoping everything goes really super well.
Oh, heh, feel free to rant. After all, I do it all the time on here.
I just didn't want two long posts in a row... And my mom already heard an earful (or three) about it earlier, and I didn't want to get all worked up again.
Ha ha, yeah... I wanted my own twist on the PMS issues (which only showed up when I started T).
And that mail carrier is ...unbelievable. Who takes a mail carrier job, KNOWING that it ttakes more than just driving a mail truck, and doesn't want to walk? Crazy.
Glad to hear it all went fine. That sucks about your next surgery not being covered by insurance. Hopefully it won't be too intrusive and they'll let you go home like you want. I would think at most they would hold you overnight for observation, make sure everything took well and all.
Yeah... I shouldn't need longer than that, but I'm hoping I won't even need that long... They'd need to give me a bunch of meds to get me to stay calm...
You're not kidding. I think I'm in the same boat as you when it comes to hospitals. Worst part for me would be the iv, needles give me the heebies. Last time I had a shot I passed right on out.
oh truth, I HATE needles. IVs scare the crap outta me.
Ironically enough, I have to get a shot in my ass every week. So I have gotten better at dealing with them for survival reasons. I can't watch, though... or look at a needle for long... or give them to myself yet...
Worst part for me is being 'trapped' in a hospital bed. I wanna be home, with MY bathroom and MY family, not in a sterilized asylum-like place full of sick people and strangers and nothing to do but watch tv (which I don't enjoy for the most part). If I'm sick, I wanna be HOME.
so... this may seem like a REALLY silly question, but will you be making an appearance at fanime before you go in? Not like directly before, but.. that weekend at least? Not that we probably won't see you before then, but... gonna stop babbling now ;p

I can definitely understand the whole wanting to be home if you're sick deal... home=comfort zone.
