Quick Update
I am fine and doing well after the scar revision. I was even able to run some errands. No need for anyone to worry.
And... good news... I CAN have my hysterectomy. Appearently, the form was just an old 'standard' form and had very little ...binding power, I suppose?
The only problem, (and I am promising to NOT turn this into a rant about insurance companies and caring more about money than people) is that ...it will not be covered by insurance. The kicker is the hospital fee. With any luck, I'll be able to go home the same day. I HATE hospitals, and I
ll hate them even more if each hour I stay adds enormously to the bill...
At least I'm young, and the doc said my uterus is TINY. The average recovery time from a hysto is probably based off the recovery times of older women, not a young man.
One can hope.
