Dear powers-that-be

As you are no doubt aware, being omniscient and all, I work five days a week at a job that manages to combine the worst elements of tedium and stress and that leaves me wiped out when I come home in the evenings.

You probably also know that I spend most of my Saturdays asleep, because it takes that much out of me.

I therefore ask

Well, I'm upright now, but awfully wobbly, which is how migraines always leave me. I've at least managed to do my laundry, although changing the bedclothes was a bit of a monumental task!

Thank you for listening. I needed to have a bit of a grump. I know life isn't fair, but - this isn't fair!!
