How demented am I that my first thought was not that Casey cheated on Lisa, but that he cheated on Danny? Or is Dan the anonymous man? Nah, couldn't be Danny, Casey's not that smart.

I have no doubt of that. There's something quite touching about this, Casey flawed and yet so lovable at the same time. Even when he's being a jerk, there's still something understandable about it.

Knowing Casey, he'll turn it around in his head until he's absolved himself. "It doesn't count if we don't talk about it," or "It's not being unfaithful, it's just Danny," or something along those lines. And if anyone called him on it, he'd be genuinely aggrieved - even though his conscience knows he's wrong.

Poor Casey. On the one hand: adultery = BAD AND WRONG. On the other hand: Danny!

Yes, adultery is so very, very wrong... but, yeah, Danny. I'm not even married and I'd commit adultery for him. ;) I would say something about rocks and the hard places, but I would never, ever make a pun as bad as that. Well, I would, but I try not to at any rate. ;)
