day 'n' of flare. i think we will call this flare 'winter'. does not help that seattle is experiencing sub-zero temperatures at the moment, so it is (quite literally) freezing outside. it does help that my brain worked out that it could turn on the heat. I am debating whether to go for a walk outside today. (I have the option of a treadmill-office has a workout room available.)

Outside is cold, yes, but there's the whole "sunshine helps with sadd thing". Also helps that I'm wearing spandex/lycra leggings under my corduroy pants. And yet I'm typing this instead of out for a walk.

Outside also has a mocha stand with muffins. Hrm.

Ugh, very cold weather: do not want. That sounds like absolutely no fun. I'm definitely one of those people who start turning up the heat to absurd levels in reaction to cold, because, aside from blankets, I don't like to bundle myself with lots of layers. Your way is much more cost-effective, though. LOL

Completely out of left field... I *really* want blueberries now that I've seen your icon. I can practically *taste* them. We're in the middle of some fairly intense weather, though, so there is no way I'm driving to the store in the dark in almost zero visibility on the off chance that they have blueberries. *drools*

I'm such a New Englander sometimes, in that if it's both cold AND sunny, I am happy as a clam. (A happy clam, anyway.)
I don't know if it happened up in Seattle, but when I left my house this morning, there was all of this amazing spiky frost everywhere. Not just on the ground, but up on walls and on the backs of leaves. It was so pretty!
Wishing you and yours warmth.
