I was stupid and read the user comments on that Toys 'R Us article, too.

You know what, world? If a girl wants girly toys and a boy wants boyish toys, let them have them, but don't let them be defined by and restricted to them. Let the girls play with the Tonka trucks (actually, we already allow that because we find tomboys to be adorable. Boys who act like girls on the other hand...). And the boys should be able to play with Barbie dolls, not that really anyone should be able to play with Barbie dolls -- talk about teaching children about what the "ideal" woman should look like.

there really was! it's called 'lost souls', i think. it definitely featured the LHC - i listened to part of it on the train between boston and new york and then my batteries died :p

I know. I have it. It's awesome, especially since Barrowman was at the LHC himself before he did the audiobook to do a docu and he described it in detail to the others before the reading. :)
(It's in his new book. :D)

eee. i really keep meaning to pick up his book. (i want to get the audiobook version because i think it's him reading it, and i loves me some john barrowman reading things.)
