i'm eating pita chips and trying not to overheat. it is insanely hot. i am cranky, in large part due to the heat.

What are your current obsessions?
dr. who, torchwood, house, graphic novels, bpal, ice cream, India, Antarctica, dolphins, penguins, jeeves and wooster

How do you feel about Children of the Earth series?

It's also very hot where I am. Now I want pita chips.

i actually haven't seen it. i read the spoilers and made an executive decision that it was going to bother me too much emotionally to watch it, so i decided not to. (i still haven't seen the first three episodes of season five of House for a similar reason). So currently i'm just pretending that it ended at s2, am aware of the events in CoE and want to watch s4 just because i really want to see how they're going to get another season out of this disaster.

Current obsessions (at least today's):

free-range/pasturing turkeys (esp. heritage, esp blue slate), Boer goats, rabbits, protecting free-range critters from foxes, neoprene or other rafting/kayaking gloves, tarweed, houndstongue, and thistle weed control, pellet gun target practice, cleaning

oooh, turkeys. i like the idea of heritage meat but i can't stand the taste of turkey. what's causing specific interest in the weeds, are they in your area?

Pastured turkeys, especially grasshopper-fed, are supposed to be out-of-this-world delicious. Kinda like eating fresh cheese when all you've had your whole life is American cheese food.

And yeah--those are the three weeds that are currently causing me the most annoyance. Mainly because the goats don't really even touch 'em comma dammit.
