i think it was partly the fact that IMO the new girl looks like Thirteen but i just ordered the 'first season' box set of the new dr. who. i only faintly remember Tom Baker - i remember the tardis and the scarf and his hair, and that was about it. i want to go back and watch some of the older stuff now.
