You want to get rid of stuff? I can't speak highly enough of freecycle http://www.freecycle.org/group/US/Washington/Seattle

I list something and it's usually gone the same day. I my yahoo mail address though, which I don't use for anything else because the volume is ludricously high. I just delete it all unless I have listed something.

You can subscribe and not get all the email, only the admin messages. Then if you want to search for something you can log in and look at recent archives. Replies to things you list still come to you.

If I had telekinesis, I'd pack all your stuff from here. Alas, I do not :(

Hm. So, I'm going to be in Seattle this weekend. If you guys could set aside the stuff that needs to go away, I could see about a Zipcar. (ZC have recently gotten *insane* about late penalties, so it would be very good if everything going in the car were ready to go by the time I showed up.)

Bonus: would get to see you, on my Whirlwind Seattle Trip #2!
My preference for this would be Sunday, though if they're only open Saturday that could be made to work.

I have to admit, mine is the south king county version, not the Seattle one. Of the hundreds of things I've given away, I've probably had only 2-3 no shows. I keep a second person in reserve for if they don't show up. I also say "I want this gone NOW" and give preference to someone who sways they will come that day. IF they don't, the second person gets it the next day, no big.
