I can't remember if I told you about the Spectrum Vitamins or not. Client's mom said she's giving them Type One or Level One- however it's worded on the website.

And, on that note, are you getting enough Vitamin B12, B6 and Folic Acid? Not having enough of those can exacerbate conditions like your muscle weakness and gait and stuff - not to mention the depression and stuff. Not having enough of those vitamins does very very bad things to the brain in general. Taking more than enough might help the CP symptoms and depression and all. You never know!

Ah, okay - you didn't tell me which ones she was giving him. Good to know. *files that*
I don't know if I am getting enough of those - I do know that when I was taking b complex vitamins my depression/anxiety was a lot better. Hm. Good ideas. Need to make sure they don't mess up with my meds (ever since a friend of mine was on neurontin and started taking calcium pills only to find out they were interacting i've started doing that).

B12 is in eggs, meats, and cheeses. If you're thinking of going vegetarian again, you would definitely want to take B12.

Lack of B12 or folic acid can cause anemia (they're essential to creating healthy red blood cells). A blood test will tell you if you're low on either.

(I've done a lot of reading on this since being diagnosed with a b12 absorption problem - I eat it, but I don't extract it effficiently from food.)

Hah -- if I were ever, ever to move the coffee at our house, I would put a Great Big Note on the refrigerator, in four-inch letters, saying "THE COFFEE IS !"

Because it would be either do that or be the victim of justifiable homicide.

Sorry, that should read: "THE COFFEE IS >NEWLOCATION< -- I forgot to substitue and-greater/less-than-semicolon for the > < signs.
