* In compensation for the hour lost to an unseasonably early daylight savings change, I demand an extra day added to the weekend. That's fair, right ( Read more... )

LOL @ your icon!

*clings too* As if weekends aren't way too short to begin with, they have to yank a precious hour from us! AND mess up our internal clocks. *curses whoever started daylight savings* I'm not convinced that things wouldn't have been just fine without messing with it. Hmph.

Aw, thanks, babe. :) I added a review of Red Lantern too. It's pretty much made of awesome.

I know what you mean. If it wasn't for a few folks on my flist, I would have forgotten that ORC took place this weekend. There are some more detailed posts here and also here. Hopefully someone grabbed video or at least audio of the Beecake gig. Billy singing live! GUH.

Love you too. *hugses* Have a beautiful, easy week.

*nods* I hope they start working on an album very soon. We could always use a little serenading from Billy!

Oh, thank god you listed "Caprice", 'cause I'd have to hurt ya if you didn't. Still probably my all-time favorite Skate fic, even if I don't really read Skate anymore. ♥

*sheepish grin* So should I mention that it was almost beaten out by another LOTR RPS? But it seemed wrong to not have one Lost fic in there. And I may not have met quite a few friends, including you, if it hadn't been for that fic. X)

Isn't it awesome about Viggo, Orlando, and Dom? The fangirl in me is deliriously happy :D.

You totally seduced me with Coxcomb :). This fic is so enjoyable and it wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that I enjoy squirming Dom.

*nods* I kind of wish there was a documentary film crew following them around all the time, so we could all see it when they're together like that. It might be a tad invasive though. hee.

Meep. *blushes* Dom was born to squirm. He does it so prettily.

I not only love the fact that the guys' friendships were made and have endured because of LotR, I love the parallel of how many friends I, too, made because of the films. What an incredible experience on so many levels.

Absolutely, same here. Not to mention, so many previous friendships have grown stronger thanks to it. LOTR really has become this strange, many-tentacled thing, the way it has latched onto so many aspects of my life.

Wait. Did I just compare LOTR to an octopus? o_O

As a lover of octopi, I think it's a great comparison. *g*

Hee.

Now I'm imagining an octopus waving a gold ring with one of its tentacles.
