Another fall on the bike today. This time was just silly inattentiveness as I was trying to get going while starting up my Edomondo tracker. I let my wheel slip off the edge of the pavement, causing it to stop dead and pitch me forward right. What a nice surprise. I was disappointed that I'd been so focused on Mardi Gras and St Patrick's day that I'd not realized that I had three days of nothing planned before leaving for TBRU. I had checked out ski trip packages but the flights alone would have been over $800 -doable but not acceptable fir only a day and a half of skiing.

Traveled with Rob, Tracy & dad at 4am on Thurs mornng, arriving in Cancun by noon after an easy 60 min plane change in O'Hare. I still love traveling especially bu air since the imposed tech-block is of short duration and i finally have a chance to read from my pile of interests with earplugs in and distractions few. Something changed waking up today. I'm back. By that I mean I'm balanced between mind and heart, something that hasn't been since the end of July. I had been aware but went about my business as usual. Today I realized the difference. As a cliche goes: a great weight....blah blah. Tennis last night during which I stunned my coach with a shot.
Satisfying.

Veg Indian place: Raj's Rasoi. Awesome though the poor guy has had turrible road construction just outside for 3 mos with finishing date sometime in Oct. His business is hurting so if K accepts it we may go there ( Read more... )
