Vacation almost over. boo hoo

At lake mead. travel went long but well

Well it's time for another vacation. I'll be off with the family to Vegas, Grand Canyon, Flaggstaff, Petrified Forest, and the Meteor Crater. Can't wait! This will be my second time to Vegas and the Grand Canyon. Yay!

Starting today the tolls went up on the Delaware River Port Authority bridges. This includes the bridge I take to and from work everyday. The toll is being raised from $3 to $4 when crossing from Jersey to PA. You can get into New Jersey for free, but you have to pay to get out. In addition, they've reduced the commuter discount. I went to see my good friend Angie. She had a memorial party for her husband. It's hard to believe that it's been over 4 month's since he passed away. He touched so many lives and was such a good soul. He will be truly missed by everyone he ever knew. This weekend I'm going to friend's father's house. We call it Camp Poppy. We camp out in the back yard and it's nice. It's not exactly real camping, but still fun. Last night I spent almost four hours making shrimp cocktail, broccoli salad, and German Potatoe Salad. It's my first time making the German Potatoe Salad, so I hope it came out ok ( Read more... )
