So I got meself a new mp3 player* that I really like, a 60GB Toshiba Gigabeat S60. It was only $240 when I bought it ($10 cheaper than an 8GB iPod nano), and thanks to Amazon's secret price-matching it only ended up being $220 for me when the price dropped a week later. Sadly true! :s

All I really want is stuff that outdoes stuff I already have, and looks decent as well. Doesn't have to be the absolute mostest-bleedingestest tech, but it does need to be reason enough for me to upgrade... and it does have to be attractive/compact enough for me to actually wanna use it

True, and that's how I feel as well. I moved away from a traditional headset (for VoIP) to Bluetooth because it was cheap enough for me to do so.
