So, the other day Emma asked for people to prompt/challenge her to write something. She all said that writing descriptively was something she struggled with, so I challenged her to describe something and I was completely blown away. Since she did such an awesome job, I decided to challenge myself to write something in just dialogue. I’m fairly certain that in my ten years of fanfic writing and my twenty years of other writing, I’ve never done this before. So, I think it totally sucks, but whatever! It was also incredibly hard not to add things like “She rolled her eyes” and “He looked confused”, but I finally did it!

The restaurant is real and totally addictive. While my best friend and I were in LA on vacation this year, we ate there several times and now are in withdrawal from not having one around us in Philly. However, while looking up the name of the restaurant, I happened to find a similar one in NYC. Guess where we’re going for her birthday?

I haven't been keeping up on my friends page due to work so I missed this earlier. Mea culpa.

I am happy to have inspired you and all giddy that people think of me as a dialogue person. I do write a lot of stuff in all dialogue, but I also enjoy writing completely dialogue free fic. It's the challenge both offer that entices me.

FWIW, you passed the supreme test on this fic. I didn't realize it was all dialogue until I read your assertion. (It's supposed to be a challenge for the author but not distracting for the reader, so brava!)

And yay again for blowing you away. I still feel like I cheated a bit, but at least I managed to write yours. I am still struggling with one challenge on that post and if you go look it up you can imagine why. Hehehe

Oh and thanks for the restaurant tip. I will have to tell iolsai we need to check it out sometime. If you come back to LA LMK and I will set you up with a great dim sum place in return.

Totally not cheating and very awesome. Now I have to go check out that challenge.

Great restaurant! I'm dying to get back to LA, but it will probably be another two years. The dim sum place sounds great though!

Ah dear Lia? well to answer you question I am slowly pluggin away at chapter 3. The discussion with Alan and Charlie so no Lia till Chap 4 however, i have doodled a little fic I want to work on or actually 2 one of them is when Coop get's his... if you know what i mean..... YUm!

I love it! Like Ely, I also didn't realize it was all dialogue until I read your Assertion -- it works that well. When is Charlie going to learn to not use people's food for demonstrations?

I tried watching Heroes tonight, but having no idea what was happening I just couldn't stay with it.

Are you behind on episodes or something? Because I would be happy to help you get into it. It's a great fandom with a ton of potential.

I think you can stream them all online if you need to catch up. I might just do that this summer because I want to watch them again knowing what I know now.

Well, I've actually never seen an episode of Heroes. I wanted to give it a shot, but it is definitly one that you have to start at the beginning.

If you know where to stream them, I'd love to know, cause I'd like to give it a try.
