Yesssss smouldering sexual tension! I liked her cheekiness at the end, too. In most of the fics I read she still hasn't grown into herself (serves me right for hanging out in the movieverse I guess).

re the comic: I'm with Wolverine on this one! Hilariously bad! You've got so many little details here - the bystander was a great touch, and I just noticed the fishbowl on our hero's chest. Mad props for taking the prompt to "silver screen"!

yeah, I definitely wanted a mature Rogue in this one. She's only recently matured in the comics ie stopped hating herself, come to grips with who she is etc. Glad you liked it. I could definitely see the two of them working this out and I believe there's an issue coming out this month or next month where she chooses a suitor.

Yeah, I regretted doing those little details because it was so hard to get them right, but it was a lot of fun at the same time. Thanks for the prompt!

Really? How interesting. I didn't really get Rogue when I was a kid. My cousin always explained her to me as "she gets other people's powers". Uh, okay, kinda boring since you're always Gambit and I'm always Shadowcat.... Then I saw the movie and it was an aha! moment - she can't be touched! Suddenly she has a story I can relate to!

There's a whole host of fanfic where Logan thinks up kinky workarounds for the obvious problem, but more relevant for a superhero, he can heal her! They work out great, in my biased opinion.
