So it's summer and generally that means nobody's bothering to air good tv except USA.   Burn Notice, Psych (coming back in a month), In Plain Sight, and Royal Pains have helped me move past the way USA treated "The 4400" and "The Dead Zone" around the time of the Writer's strike.  The same can not be said of the STD network's newest offering.

I've been a fan of this show for years, but I'm pretty sure that after next week I will be done with it. I love it for presenting human characters (and keep characterization relatively consistent), interesting cases, and unusual scenarios, and I refuse to stick around as all of that gets pushed to the side for cheap ratings/publicity/sweeps stunts ( Read more... )

I know a lot of people were upset (to put it mildly) by the Season 2 Finale of Veronica Mars because of the treatment of a particular character.  When the S2 DVDs come out I'll be among those rewatching and looking to see if this really was as out of the blue as it felt.

The 'Brass vision' intro was interesting, very different from what they generally use.  I liked the flashback with Brass talking about LA with Grissom and setting up this whole situation.
