So it's summer and generally that means nobody's bothering to air good tv except USA.   Burn Notice, Psych (coming back in a month), In Plain Sight, and Royal Pains have helped me move past the way USA treated "The 4400" and "The Dead Zone" around the time of the Writer's strike.  The same can not be said of the STD network's newest offering.

Psych has been a fave since it aired for the first time evah, and Royal Pains is another fave that I liked since the first episode. Haven't touched IPS or BN though. Convince me if you must.

Psych is just sooo much WIN! One of the things I like about Royal Pains is that it's shot not to far from where my parents grew up and my remaining grandparent still lives so I get to play the "I know where that is" game, but it's entertaining beyond that.

BN and IPS are both pretty good, though I'd say BN is better. If you like multi-episode arcs with your weekly mystery start with BN (it also has more pretty).

I need to rotate my icons to put back in the summer shows.

I hope RP lasts and that Mark Feurstein's tv show curse ends. His shows always get canceled and the last time I saw the guy that plays his brother (forgot his real name) was on Joey and that show tanked pretty bad too.

I'm really enjoying In Plain Sight this season. They have definitly bumped up the writing this year.

Yeah, it's better this season. I want more Josh Malina though. ;-)

I miss Monk too, but I feel like it's sort of drifted the past couple seasons. I hope they wrap it up well.

Not only that, Virtuality didn't actually END. It just sort of stopped. I found the mystery intriguing, but...eh.

It ended-ish for if it had actually been a pilot. I'm pretty sure I have a good idea what the "answer" would be, unless RDM changed his mind half-way through any resulting series.

Hmmm, have Warehouse 13 on the DVR but haven't watched yet. Thanks for the words of caution!

It wasn't cringe worthy or anything, just a bland mash up of everything that's come before (for me anyway).
