Well, I've been having a decent enough time here in Texas. I love my job, my apartment is great and I do have some fun. Still not enough for me, though, for some reason. Ok, I know, no pictures of me in an afro wig yet, or with my shorter haircut yet (yes, it is, in fact, even shorter now). I'll fix that a bit later, but I'm at work at the moment. Well, I'm still in my restraining boot, but only for another week. Then 3 weeks after that and I can go back to kendo officially, woot! Training is over; work is cool, though boring so far. So, everybody knows by now, but I managed to fracture my left foot at the second metatarsal at kendo practice on monday. The likely cause is a combination of overly enthusiastic participation before my body had worked up to it, and a bad tendency to turn my left foot as I step off to move.
