She had tried being polite. She wasn't about to be flat-out ignored, and she really didn't have the time to waste. She needed answers. She needed to know just where she was so she could hurry up and get back to headquarters in case she was needed.
"I said, excuse me." She restated in a louder, more firm tone. To ensure that she was not ignored this time, she took a hold of the colored ankle protruding from beneath the pod and tugged the body out from beneath it, easily lifting the person into the air in front of her face.
A hand upon her hip, her eyes traveled down the odd body to find the face of her soon-to-be informant. What she saw, however, made her eyes widen. That symbol upon the forehead...!
"Brainiac?!" Was her enraged cry of surprise. Springing instinctively into action, she dashed toward ( ... )

His eye visors reconnected to his forehead and he gave her a good, analytical overview, his eyes going wide. The Superman S? A girl?
A girl?
Why did he get caught up in that? He was staring, but that didn't stop other thought processes from taking over, in fact, the realization of all of this took less then a second. His answer, a mere second later, was this. "As much as you'd like to believe I'm not responsible for this! Are you... Supergirl?" he paused, long, and shamefully.

She wasn't too surprised that he knew her name. Just as well, and he'd better remember it! Besides, it wasn't like it would be hard to tell. The S on her chest would give her away even to anyone who didn't really know her, she was sure... because of her cousin's great reputation.
"Yeah, I am Supergirl. And you're gonna tell me exactly what's going on around here! Maybe I'll spare you if you seem to be telling the truth, and don't you try anything funny or I'll rip you apart right here, got it?!"
Her gaze continued to bore down on the android, though she couldn't seem to figure out why she'd said those last words. Why would a Brainiac tell her the truth in the first place? Furthermore, why should she spare a Brainiac? Though... this one did seem different somehow ( ... )
