Anyone with a DVD player knows about the deleted scenes they cram onto the DVD release of a movie. Often, those scenes are deleted for a reason. I've been peeling shrimp to marinate for stir-fry tomorrow. Aisha is very eager to help. She actually climbed up my jeans and nearly made it into the sink!

Anyone have an idea how I can get her to stop that without nudity or salmonella?

Preferably a small recipe. I've got a few friends with birthdays coming up this month, and we're arranging a combined party this weekend.

Teriyaki chicken and steamed carrots. Delicious, and so easy to make. Just gotta plan an hour or so in advance for the marinade. I like adventurous recipes a lot of the time, but sometimes something simple is all you need.

One of the relatives I saw at my cousin's graduation was my uncle, who has two very young children. I overheard him talking to my mother, and it seems his youngest has some troublesome allergies. I'm trying something reasonably new for dinner. Buitoni focaccia bread with pizza sauce, pepperoni and cheese. I did this once before, but it went wrong due to some bad mushrooms, so I'm leaving them off this time. Should be simple and tasty, and last several days. But it'll probably be about an hour before I find out for sure.
