Anybody have a good recipe for Devil's Food Cake?
Preferably a small recipe. I've got a few friends with birthdays coming up this month, and we're arranging a combined party this weekend.
As might be expected, I have some strange friends, including one so freakish she doesn't like chocolate. So I'll be making a pound cake (with homemade strawberry jam as a topping), but it would be fun to supplement it with something appropriate to the day we've just passed for the chocolate lovers (of which I am definitely one).
So, I'll check my cookbooks, but if anyone has suggestions, I'm all ears.
