Birthdays, the flu, musicals, and more.

Wow, I've been away for awhile.

My 37th (ugh) birthday was March 11. I was not happy about it. I felt, and still feel, like I don't really have anything to show for my life. I've achieved nothing, nothing memorable about me, nothing to leave behind when I die someday.

Hey, hope you had a great birthday!

I was a bit concerned to read that you feel like you don't have anything to show for your life. You seem to have a great wife and kid which you work so hard to care for even though you have your own internal struggles going on. I know it doesn't seem like much but I have a lot of admiration for what you are doing and continue to do.

I'm a fan of Jerome Pradon as well and I always see you on nearly everything to do with him! We've bumped into each other a bit on facebook, youtube and back in the old forums (remember those?). I'm grateful to you for pretty much single-handly keeping the fandom alive after the everyone else seemed to leave it around 2005-ish. I myself haven't really been around since 2015!

I'm a stranger on the internet who lives thousands of miles away from you, but I see you girl!

Wow, thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words a lot, honestly. It helps to know that people on the outside can see some value to my life; it really does, and I thank you.

I do remember the old Jerome Pradon forum, for sure! It got overtaken by spam, and I had started my FB group for fans of his, and then Helen (who runs the official Jerome Pradon website) asked me if my FB fan group could be "official" and linked to the official website, since the forum there was overtaken by spam. She said she'd even talked to Jerome about it, and he was fine with my FB group being "official" in that way. Of course, I was more than happy for the FB fan group to be made official!!!

I definitely wish the Jerome Pradon fandom was bigger; he's so talented, and I wish more people knew about him.

Thank you again. You made me smile :-)
