Brilliant ending to a really dark fic. Love that in the end Sam had to make the choice for both of them and chose death rather than continue.

Actually, this was rather a twisted variation on "no one beats the Winchesters at their own game"...the demon wanted Dean...figured he could break him and use him...didn't count on Dean's single minded need for Sam...didn't count on Sam breaking Dean so completely...didn't bet on either one of them being able to end it.

And...for me...it had to be definitive. I had to exorcise them completely out of my head...
