I was balling my eyes out reading this. It's always hard to say goodbye to a pet, but I find it's even harder to say goodbye to your first pet. You captured Sam's emotions perfectly, the sadness that Aristotle was dying and the relief that she wouldn't have to suffer anymore. Excellent job!
