Yummy yummy pizza, delivered in biodiesel cars fueled with the leftover oil from their deep-fryers, right down the street from my new apartment -- that's what Madison means to me. Also, slushies in every convenience store. That's all I really want out of a city. New York utterly failed me in that regard.

Haven't gone yet -- we're moving next month. I signed a lease last Wednesday. Segev finished his PhD, so he's starting a postdoc at the University of Wisconsin.

Wow, I have missed something. Madison is a great town, or was when I lived there about 15 years ago. Perhaps we can arrange to meet in person the next time HC visits Milwaukee.
