Do you think the strike will last very long?

I know the last one, 20 years or so ago, lasted 5 months. From what I understand, the two sides are currently MILES apart and no one is blinking, so I don't see it ending any time next week.

Yeah, the industry employs so many people that you never even think about...assistants, craft services, security guards, you name it. Those are the folks who are going to have a really tough time. I hope it gets resolved quickly, but fairly.

I wholeheartedly support the strike, in that I support the creative people getting the money they deserve. In an arts industry, it's artists, not suits, who should be making the big money
