So Andrew really loves Cars, and we've watched it with him countless times now. On the one hand, the movie in some ways improves through this experience, as the adult criticisms fade behind the appreciation a child has for cars that drive really fast, and a movie built entirely around just that idea ( Read more... )

Andrew told one of his first jokes today, maybe his first joke ever.

He took a long drink from his box of chocolate milk, then looked at me and said, "Mmmmm.... poop!"
And then he threw his head back and cackled uproariously.

I'm glad his sense of humor is so sophisticated. :)

E and I are going back and watching all of LOST in order again -- and it happens to work really well with the way the final season is unfolding. We even got two Kate episodes last week, as the one we watched from Season 1 involved her original escape from captivity, and the new episode involved her alternate-timeline escape ( Read more... )
