It's been snowing all night. We got up for work, looked outside, and decided to take the day off. The buses aren't going, anyway, and the council is advising people to stay at home. Snow's covering the bumps and holes in the roads and many of the hill roads are outright closed. The power grid was already dodgy and people have houses where walls are

My excitement of snow is always tempered by how much it must suck for people who aren't fortunate enough to have somewhere warm, safe and dry. Hope everyone's staying as warm as they can.
