exhaustion setting in

This morning, my alarm clock woke me. I cannot remember the last time this happened - I imagine it would have been some time when I had my alarm set in the middle of the night for some reason. I can't tell if its a good thing that you slept through the earthquake, but it sounds like you slept okay! Glad to hear that the job was easier today and that Holly is doing well.

It's probably a "I'm getting pretty sleep deprived" thing :P Quite often I don't get back to sleep easily after earthquakes, especially if they go on for several seconds because that always makes my body think they're going to ramp up and get big for some reason. Apparently the 5.1 was a really gentle roll - Darfield/Greendale tends to be not as jolty as the Port Hills/Lyttleton fault anyway though of course that doesn't necessarily follow that it does less damage, it's just a lot less built up over there.

Excellent. Well. If I ever get around to writing something and *gasp* finishing it.

Awww, hope they die down enough in the night that you can sleep! It started with a large bang and then rolled for about a minute or so here.

Good-luck with the writing. I'm having to tear myself away from that account or I'll end up re-watching all the episodes!
