I agree with kwanboa both-- buying booze stimulates local economy!
Even if you are in the same town, technically going through the "same thing", you still are not-- everyone is different in how they cope/conduct themselves in situations.
She's completely out of line-- alcohol and coping methods are not directly linked to fundraising and charity -- thats for giving people the access they need to get their life back as much as possible, hopefully.
I haven't been in this account for ages, so just wanted to pop in and see how you were. Hope you are feeling better from the gastro!
