That looks like a seriously kickass kitty facility! Trees and flowers and tables and chairs. And some pretty cool humans to play with too. :p

Volunteering at kitty places is THE BEST! I really should consider getting back into it myself.

I volunteered with one woman when I was in high school who cared for about 20 cats in her big farm-style house - her parents were elderly and she did not have kids and was unmarried so she had this huge house all to herself. I would go over and spend time with the cats, giving them attention, feeding them, changing litter boxes. I loved it because I couldn't have cats of my own, and it felt really great to be one of the few people her particularly grumpy feral kitties would tolerate in their space.

That is so fucking awesome. I wish I could volunteer at the local humane society, but I don't have a way to get there :( One day though! :D
