There's this adorable cat that always comes up to me when I pull into my parking spot, and it doesn't have a collar and I really want to steal it, but it doesn't look unhealthy or starved or anything, so it's probably got an owner. *sadface* Max needs a friend! He gets lonely without me. Truefax

Um, so as not to leave this on a downer--my LJ friends are amazing and I love you all. Part of why I love fandom is the community aspect of it. I love feeling like there's a group of people out there who are excited about the same things I am, who won't mock me for loving something silly like American Idol, who are supportive of each other and who produce amazing fic and art to entertain us. I heart you all.
AMEN. AND DITTO. SO MUCH DITTO. I love fandom, even when it's completely crazycakes, which it has been lately. All of them. I feel like the entire internet decided it was time to explode and that's what happened. But hey! I'm here for the ride. And the party. Always the party.

My sister is planning to visit UT over spring break and she asked if I'd go with her if I had the time since I did the whole "find a college" thing already--would you be up for a meet up? I don't have any definite plans yet, but I am checking for scheduling purposes. :D

I would totally be up for a meet-up, and if you guys need a place to crash, I have a couch and a floor! Spring break is kind of crazy because that's when SXSW usually happens, so getting a hotel will be difficult. But I'm always happy to host fangirls and siblings thereof :P If nothing else, we could go to Hey Cupcake. Mmmm.

LOL. Thank you so much! I think her spring break isn't actually until April (at least that's what I remember from high school), so it wouldn't overlap with SXSW, but we'll confer and I'll see what her plans are/how definite (if it all) they are and let you know as we make plans. *g*

No idea on Austin yet. It's not looking good for December, honestly...but I'll keep you updated. I just need two days off together, on a non-holiday weekend!!
