Oh YAY. I used to be registered to the Restricted Section but that was like 4 years ago. Thanks!

Considering my flist, that's only to be expected :P But it's nice to see that people who've moved on to other fandoms still look back.

Thanks for posting! I haven't read The Long Run in forever and I'm so glad to see that link - the one I had is dead. Now I just have to pace myself with the fic reading. :)

Wow! I HAVE to go read these stories!

I wish I could create a bubble outside of time where wouldn't need to find time for work, school, training, eating, sleeping, etc... A bubble where I could read and read and read only to step back into life with no time gone. Oh well, I can sleep when I'm dead.

I know I didn't rec "A Howling in the Factory Yard", but I can say it is an amazing and epic series of stories. It's an SG1 AU featuring Jack's Clone and a far more seriously injured Cameron Mitchel. Well worth the time to read the whole series. The world building is amazing. After reading the 1st book, I dare you not to feel like spending the holidays with the Mitchell clan.

But, the real gem is the 2nd book. The 2nd book is brilliant, creepy, and deeply disturbing. I re-read this whole series every 6 months or so, and each time the 2nd book is better than I remembered. Then again, would you expect any less from Synecdochic?

I've never seen a single moment of SG1. I watched SGA (*sniffs sadly*) but yeah... I have no idea anything about SG1. I want to add your comment to the post, if that's okay?

You are welcome to use my comment.

Also, Because A Howling in the Factory Yard is an AU, you really don't need to have watched SG1. It stands on it's own.

This is so freakin' awesome! *bookmarks* I can't wait to read these!

If the reccer doesn't give you a blurb for 'Night on Earth', I could. It's a great fic, one I've always loved.

It's good to see 'Rat's Alley' listed. Sirius/Severus was my first ship, mostly due to fabularasa and I still have a nostalgic affection for her fics.

Would you mind if I stole this idea and did the same with my flist?

I think it would be helpful to have a comment about Night on Earth, jsut so that people will KNOW what it is! There's no reference...

You can totally steal the idea!
