It's the day before my birthday, which means it's LANCEFACE'S birthday!!! In celebration of Lance still being in his 20s for another year (and just because he's my favorite and awesome and did I mention AWESOME?), I will write drabbles.

You know how this works. Give me a Lance pairing and a prompt, and I will write a little something.

"If we were Nsync," AJ says, smiling sharply at the VJ, "Nick would be the Lance."

"Because he's gay," Brian adds helpfully.

"And he wants to go to space," says Howie.

The VJ, who Nick thinks is basically a somehow even less charismatic clone of Carson Daily, turns to Nick with a look of shock and glee on his face, says, "Really? Nick, is that true?"

"Of course not," Nick says, rolling his eyes. "Space is for nerds."

Lance/JC prompt: "Getting it out"

"Come on Lance, I don't have all day! Just get it out, already!"

Lance rolls his eyes and stares at JC. "You don't have all day? Seriously, C? What else were you planning on doing today? I mean, I'm sure you're so totally busy not putting out an album and not touring and not doing press, so I can't imagine what you could possibly be doing that's more important than seeing my new acquisition."

JC huffs and crosses his arms over his chest and gives Lance his best glare. "Fine, look, you know, if you're not going to at least let me play with it, I can just go find someone who won't be such a fucking bitch about it. I bet Justin's got it, and I bet his is, like, an even awesomer version, too."

"Jesus. Okay okay, fine. Here it is." Lance reaches for the remote and flips the television on, smirking at JC's gasp of delight as the Grand Theft Auto IV logo splashes across the screen. "Now let's steal some cars and beat some hookers."

JC grins. "This is your best birthday ever!"

I've never played it but apparently it's the best thing ever!

Today is my daughter's birthday too. And the day she was born, I laughed and laughed to myself that I'd given birth to her on the same day an *NSYNCer was born, because that is SO like me, given my past with the *NSYNC fandom. LOL!

Heee! That's awesome though. And plus, it's good her birthday is not May 5, because let me tell you, trying to go out to eat on Cinco de Mayo really sucks! At least, it does in Texas :P

On his seventeenth birthday, Lance had only known Justin for a couple months and he wasn't sure he'd know Justin all that much longer, the way things were not moving along at all, but that didn't stop Justin from trying to make him a cake and smuggling him a six pack of Mike's Hard Lemonade from JC's stash. And it didn't stop Justin from dragging Lance to the small park down the block from their house to drink the stolen booze ("Mmmm," said Justin, smacking his lips, "it tastes like candy!"); it didn't stop Justin from insisting that Lance get on the swings once all the Mike's was gone so Justin could push him, warm hands in the center of Lance's back and Lance meant to say, "You know, I've been able to swing by myself for over a decade now," but he never ended up getting around to it, because
