It's the day before my birthday, which means it's LANCEFACE'S birthday!!! In celebration of Lance still being in his 20s for another year (and just because he's my favorite and awesome and did I mention AWESOME?), I will write drabbles.

You know how this works. Give me a Lance pairing and a prompt, and I will write a little something.

On his seventeenth birthday, Lance had only known Justin for a couple months and he wasn't sure he'd know Justin all that much longer, the way things were not moving along at all, but that didn't stop Justin from trying to make him a cake and smuggling him a six pack of Mike's Hard Lemonade from JC's stash. And it didn't stop Justin from dragging Lance to the small park down the block from their house to drink the stolen booze ("Mmmm," said Justin, smacking his lips, "it tastes like candy!"); it didn't stop Justin from insisting that Lance get on the swings once all the Mike's was gone so Justin could push him, warm hands in the center of Lance's back and Lance meant to say, "You know, I've been able to swing by myself for over a decade now," but he never ended up getting around to it, because.

Because Justin was fifteen and it was Lance's seventeenth birthday, but that didn't stop Justin from catching Lance in mid-swing, one arm around Lance's waist, leaning down and kissing him. Not even a real kiss, just a friendly peck, but Justin tasted like lemonade and chocolate cake and he said, "Happy birthday," and that made it true.
