This was wonderful!!! I love the way you weaved parts of the original episode with new things you created. As always, I love the John/Atlantis connection - the way he knew to go to the chair room and then worked with the city to fix things. The headaches and nosebleeds were great. Sumner was his normal "charming" self. Such an accepting man - too bad he's blind!! This was just as wonderful as the first one (how did you manage that???) and I absolutely can't wait for the next. YOU ROCK!!

*blushing* thank you for you kind words - sometimes when I'm writing - I can tell when things are working beautifully and sometimes it just seems to get bogged down - the first section of this story flew out of the muse - the last bits just came out in dribs and drabs and I was so damned frustrated... sigh - you have no idea how heartening it is to find that people are really enjoying it [despite writing fanfic for years and despite understanding that I really must write for myself - it is a scary thing to offer up my babies for public consumption 8

Ohh I loved this, I was only rereading part one the other day. I adore stories that have a strong Sheppard Atlantis connection. I like that you picked up the city lighting up for John as he came because intentional or not that does appear how the scene was shot.
Its such a shame the writers decided to ignore for the most part the whole super ATA gene that Sheppard has.

thank you for your kind words and I'm really glad that you enjoyed it - and yeah - every time I watch 'Rising' it frustrates the hell out of me that the writers for the series really dropped the ball in regards to Sheppard and the City

on the other hand it gives us fanwriters nearly free reign :-)
