Awww.. loved Rodney's guilt ridden countenance, although not at all admitting it outright.

Yea, it was palpable in the series premier, the tension between Sumner and Sheppard. Loved how you brought him in with ire blazing and the ill-effects on an unstable and still unhealthy Sheppard *cuddles Shep*

I look forward to Carson berading the Colonel.

what I've enjoyed while 'getting into' SGA - is the characters - I love John Sheppard - he is so much more than just a 'hotshot flyboy' but the other characters are rich with details - some blatantly obvious and other layer subtle and almost hidden - McKay is another character I've enjoyed - watching how David Hewlett portrays him - the often obnoxious, over-confident scientist who can be oblivious, weak and cowardly with the best of them - but then you realize that he is NOT completely oblivious to what is happening around him and to those he cares about - and he fails the test when it comes to cowardice in my book - so many times he's stepped right in when he could have turned tail and run, so many times he put himself in harms way because it was the right thing to do - he and Sheppard have had very positive effects on one another - though I'm sure each would be loathe to admit it most of the time

Love your description of Sumner "not a complicated man. He knew his role in life and that he found fulfillment in the military". I think that captures him perfectly as well as his assumption that Shep is a slacker. Nicely done.
