The Queensway-Carleton Hospital is doing a crap-tonne of hiring for porters. There must be about 12 positions for part-time and casual porters, mostly evenings and weekend hours with some days. Pay scale is 19.65/hour to 21.03/hour. CUPE union position.

I am working but you can meet me for lunch. or drop by before or after. I'd recommend, if possible, taking a look at the job description and tailoring your resume as much as possible. Also, if you can work in the words accountability, innovation and respect, that would be awesome ( ... )

you are welcome to email me your resume before tomorrow afternoon at 4:30ish and I can walk it down. Or call the hospital and get the HR address to email it to.

Also, tomorrow for lunch would be lovely.

I won't be back Wed or Thursday to deliver it, though.

that is the HR admin person and can receive the resume by email. technically, a candidate is supposed to include the reference numbers for the positions on his cover letter, but I do not have them with me and I am not going back to work until next Tuesday *squeees with giddiness* and applications are due tomorrow.

Probably wouldn't hurt to call her ask for them over the phone. QCH is 721 2000 and then ask for HR. Still, send the resume anyway if that information isn't included.

I have seriously never seen so many postings in our relatively small hospital. Some of it is because the hospital has finally given the go ahead to hire positions it was putting off bc of possible budget cuts/hiring freeze, etc so they're all coming up at once.
