tarigwaemir, motorbike, your cards arrived - and that is today. XD; Nat, I'm going to figure out a way to pin your flower cookies on my bag. T_T

Avatar: this I have to hand to James Cameron: he made a three-hour movie of which every single second is predictable - not to mention eyeroll-inducing** - but that doesn't feel three hours long. Not easy, folks. I went to ( Read more... )

even ppl who turn their brains off like their cellphones would register the script as "clichéd" if not "problematic"

From what I've seen on my Twitter follow list...indeed, this is true.

Ahaha, thank you, I now have this mental image of main-character-guy-from-Avatar running around declaring "I'M BASCH VON RONSENBURG!"

I've been debating whether it's worth the price of admission just to see the eye candy, myself. Not to mention that I hear you have to actually book specific seats and other nuisances. Your thoughts?

Booking specific seats makes it easier, by me - buy your ticket online the day before and print it out, skip the queue at the theatre (particularly if you're like me and only go on Cheapie Tuesdays XD). There's no extra charge.

Think of it this way: will you ever want to see this movie? If yes, then go see it in the IMAX 3D.

Ah, I did not realize they had online support for that. If so, that does make it easier because the queue was my big concern. It's just that I had learned last minute of some friends going to see it and couldn't grab a ticket and join.

I'm a "go big or go home" kind of guy to begin with, so that squares neatly with me. ^_^ Good to know, thanks!

Odd... the only place I can find it playing is the Paramount and they don't have online booking for it. Which theatre and website did you use?
