The A level results are released tomorrow. I need AAB to get into Leeds, although there is some leeway - they may still accept me if I get, say, ABB or AAC, as long as I get the A in English.

I'm basically going in there with no expectations, because I should have got what I need, but I may not have done. If I haven't, I have three options: clearing ( Read more... )

God, I'm exactly the same. I was the genius of the family, I've never had a disappointing grade, but there's a very big chance that I will now.

This time next year, I'm going to be a complete wreck.

That's the thing about being precocious, I suppose. Sooner or later the world catches up with you.

My parents will be supportive, I know they will, but it will still be awkward.

Thanks. I've found that smoking heavily and listening to 'Fiesta' by The Pogues takes the edge off it, but... gah.
