You know, in defiance of how much you think this sucks, I must say that I really like it. Just because House is dating a clever younger woman doesn't automatically make that woman a Mary Sue. Especially considering how slashy this is, and how aware she seems to be of said slashiness. Now, if she were tall, scruffily dressed, had violet/silver/[insert random odd color here] eyes, walked with a cane, and was some sort of brilliant doctor with a tragic hidden past, that would be a Mary Sue. Instead, she just comes over as a likeable, witty woman who just happens to be dating House. I love that she took them to Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. :) Oh, and your dialogue is spot-on brilliant.

I dunno - it seems that this is the slasher girl version of a mary sue - and thats why we enjoy her so much. ^^;; d

Don't deny it - a het loving girl will pair House up with the perfect romantic girl for him - who is slightly like her(the writer), especially in regards to how said het shipper thinks House and romance should mix.

This girl is what WE think is perfect for House - and she is def. similar to us in thinking, especially in regards to House and romance. We've just inserted one of ourselves into the fanfic - and that def. makes it a mary sue, even though she is the friendlier, slasher girl's version of a MS.

Thank you both! And I agree with magegirl8, I can't deny that this is just a slash!Mary-Sue... I'm glad people like her, though.

Don't worry, there will be no graphic man-woman sex. Not in the fic anyway; I can't stop it happening altogether.
