Ive been trying to keep up with your tumblr (seeing as you seem to post there the most often :P ) but don't use mine very much to comment cause its s'posed to be for my tutors to grade my uni work :( but

Have you used Derwent's at all before? and is there a comparison between the two if you have? No, not a lot. I think I have one of two but it's not a brand I am very familiar with. It's not very famous in France. Here, we use much more Conté and Caran d'Arche pencils that are very good but not as good as Prismacolors. I had never heard of Prima before people told me about them on Tumblr. They are not even sold in Paris, I had to order them on Amazon.com, in the US
blending/shading etc can you do that with them? With Copic, absolutely. You have the 00 marker for color blending and very very light gray and purple markers for shading. In fact you have so many colors that the possibilities are endless. You can also have different effects by just changing the paper.
what/where are the best tutes/ are there any? You can check the works and step by steps by David Deb on Deviant art. I love seeing his process on works like this one. Otherwise, I can't really give you any because I learned everything I knew thanks to books in Japanese

Thank you so much for your kind words about my sketchbook entry ♥ Everybody loved the Texas postcard ^^;; I didn't expect thsi little card to have such a success :) The one of Cas with the flower crown drove me nuts. So MANY roses!!
Hello Doctor ^o^ Thank you so much for your kind words about my sketchbook entry ♥ Yes, I drew Bilbo! I LOVED the Hobbit and I fell in love with the book "The art of the Hobbit". It made me want to sketch madly!! *HUGS YOU TIGHT*
Fantastic artwork, as always! Tattooed!Dean (and those yummy pancakes), hurt!Sam, and the Texas postcard are my favorites forever and ever and ever. ♥♥♥
I see that you used the brush-nip Copic sketch markers. I'm afraid of those things -- do they handle well? (Wait. WHO am I asking? In your capable hands, a jagged piece of rock and a rusty wire would deliver great art.)
I'm afraid of those things -- do they handle well? They do but for skin tones like YR00 and E11 I bought in addition to my box set big square-shaped Copics. They are very good for big surfaces like chests and legs. Otherwise, the Copic sketch are really amazing and I love them for details. For tiny details, I use ballpoint pens or even Tria markers :)
Thank you so much for your kind words about my sketchbook entry ♥ Glad you enjoyed the postcard so much! I had a lot of fun working on it ^^
